Ramona Matta is a writer, nature photographer, and artist who finds inspiration in the intersection of culture and landscape. Born in Lebanon and a resident of Western Massachusetts for over two decades, she brings a rich, trilingual perspective to her prose, blending the emotional depth of literary fiction with the high-stakes secrets of noir.
Her artistry extends beyond the page. When she isn’t weaving atmospheric narratives, she can be found capturing the "golden hour" through her camera lens, reading poetry, or engaging in the tactile crafts of soapmaking and cooking. The inspirational call for creating something from nothing is the pulse of her writing career.
Ramona’s literary journey includes her previously self-published novellas, Between The Lines of Tango and Bahar/A Spring Melody. With her debut full-length novel, Valley Girl, she continues her mission to create characters that breathe and stories that leave a lasting impact. Looking toward the future, she hopes to bring her love for global storytelling to the screen with a drama television series. She remains dedicated to the independent path, believing that a story’s heart can only beat through the authentic voice of its writer and the reader’s soul.
